Weigh ins 6 and 7 (6 revisited)

I was just too embarrassed to write about last week.

I mean I knew it was bad but didn't think as bad as it was.

Weigh in 6 (last week)

Current Weight - 225.6lbs
GAIN 3.6 lbs.
Total Loss 7.2lbs

this number made me much less happier than 10.2lbs

Yuck. Ok. I know i got taken out for a meal and didn't write anything down and didn't go to the gym so i deserved it.

I was really mad at myself. The comment from the parent of a child in my class saying 'Oh you have lost weight' made me feel good. It inspired me to want more people to notice.

Weigh in 7 (this week)
Current Weight 224lbs
Loss this week 1.6lbs
Total loss 8.8lbs

Not so bad. I definitely do much better, as my Mother observed, when I am broke and can't afford to buy junk food. Even low calorie junk food like my good old hershey's sticks I can eat the whole box! (9 points).

Well then this week should be easy. A week to payday and due to my internet company messing up and my bank too, I have no money until then!

I want to get back into double figures very badly.

I want my family to go 'wow'! When they get off the play here in Charlotte at the beginning of July.

I want people to notice.

I want to be healthier.

Hopefully it will be a good week.

xoxo

weigh in 6

I don't really wanna talk about weigh in right now. Maybe I will in a few days.

A parent at school who hadn't seen me in a while said I looked like I had lost weight, so that was nice.

two of my lucky charms

I have discovered 2 lucky charms to keep me on track

The first is progresso soup. It is really like a stew and endorsed by WW. Some of the vegetable ones are 0 points and ones with chicken in are more like 1 point half the tin and 2 points for the whole tin. They are really chunky and filling so I have started taking them into school for lunch.

The second is Hersheys 60 calories sticks - they are long sticks of chocolate for only 60 cals (1 point) each, the come in caramel filled version which is my favourite, and mint, solid milk chocolate and dark choclate. Here I have to be carefull I dont eat too many!

Weigh in 5

Current weight 222.4lbs
Loss 0.6lbs
Total loss 10.2lbs

I got lucky here. From my very naughty (sorry Bryher) peaks on the scales it looked like a gain, but turned out not to be.

Last weekend we had subway, and papa johns pizza! I haven't even made it to the gym once. I've been unwell, so busy, all the excuses you could think ok I had!

Last night (Friday) we went to one of our favorite places to eat, Macs. Its a bbq restaurant (different meaning of bbq to UK) and every time we go we have the same thing. We always say we will try something different but never do! We have the 'little bit of everything' platter which has bbq meat kinda all shreaded up, a chicken quater, 2 different types of ribs and 2 sides. My sides last night were fries and potatoe salad. It is amazing and if you visit me I WILL take you there!

So yeah, got luck really. Glad to have hit the 10lb mark, now going for the first stone.

xx

I made a mistake

I was entering the total calories from fat instead of grams of fat! So i was for example, entering by accident the fat grams as 45 when they were like 2! oops! I'm glad it is solved.

UK V USA results

wow. I'm really confused here. Today I decided to write down the points for both USA and UK weight watchers. They are different in the sense that the UK works off calories and Sat fat and the USA works off cals, total cals from fat and dietary fiber grams. The results have really shocked and confused me.

Here they are.

USA Food UK
points allowed 29 points allowed 24

4 cornflakes with milk 2.5

4 quaker oats cereal bar 1.5

4 fresh bread 3

6 pretzel 4

0 salad 0

3 chicken 1.5

4 bread 3

4 honey mustard dressing 1

1 remaining 8.5 remaining

I'm not sure what this means for me or what to do and which one to follow. Why are they so different? Surely USA and UK bodies cant be that different. I should add though on USA WW you have the option to use 35 points through the week to eat out etc. They are optional.

I'm so confused.
