Weigh in 4

Current Weight 223lbs

This weeks loss 1lb

Total Loss 9.8lbs

I did weigh a day early this week as Friday was pay day and were were planning to either eat out or order in. We don't do that so often these days!

This makes me under the last stone mark that I was at! Though being in America I really do think in pounds. I love that my scales are so precise and measure your weight to 0.1 of a lb.

I have enjoyed this week as I was able to get some money from my UK account and bought mainly fruit, yogurt and jacket potato! It made such a difference to how satisfied I had felt and it was nice not to be overloaded with carbs!

Now pay day has arrived and we did a big shop at Walmart. I am proud to say I did not buy anything I shouldn't have! I was tempted by the Hersheys kisses. I know how many points they are and I could easily fit them in to my points but I didn't buy them! I just knew I would start sneaking them and not counting them so I stuck to stuff for meals and fruit ang yoghurt and low fat cereal bars.

I even made a plan for the week of the meals we are having!
They may move around the days but that doesn't matter!

- spaghetti bolegnese (made from scratch) 10 points
- Chicken Salad - 5 points (might add pasta might not, if I do will be more like 8 points)
- noodles and stir fry Veg - 8 points
- Fries in butties (yes I know but I count them for the points, they are low fat) 10 points
- Mac and cheese - 7 points

I know you are thinking this is not 7 days worht but some will be repeated or we may have jacket potatoes.

Most days this will be followed by fruit salad and yoghurt.

Breakfast I am generally having oatmeal (porridge) for 3 points

I'm happy with how it's going, this week I went to the gym at our apartment complex on my own and managed 20 mins on the tread mill. Little and often is good for me with excercise and I really push myself to jog for longer and not just stop at X minute but go til I can't go no more!

Weigh in 3

I'm pretty happy today

after putting on 0.6lbs last week I was kinda down.

This weeks stats

Current Weight - 224lbs exactly
This weeks loss - 1.2lbs
Total loss 8.8lbs

So just 0.2 away from the next pound. I'm ok with doing this slowly but surely. I hope it is more likely to stay off that way. I know I should be getting my butt to the gym MORE. I only seem to get there once a week.

Slow and steady wins the race! I'm happy it is pay day on Friday so I can plan better for meals!

weigh in number 2

Apparently 0.6lbs on....

I don't know how...I didn't cheat. I'm not very happy. I know it isn't a lot but still.

I didn't go to the gym as much as last week so I guess that didn't help! Did go for a long walk though and the gym once. I need to go more.

Still think I'm eating too many carbs and I'm longing for fresh fruit salad. Won't be long now before I can actually buy some fruit and vary what I'm eating a bit.

So...I'm going to make those vows again because I don't know what else to do.

I'm going to try to go to the gym more this week. Even if just to jog. I'm sure it helps my metabolism.

I'm going to try to drink more water.

As always, stick to the points using the calculator.

naughty girl

Decided to step on the scales again this morning and today they showed a loss this week of 1.6lbs and total loss 8.2lbs. I know some people will yell at me for that! My scales store the history so not a lot I can do!

But hey, lost my first half stone! Slowly but surely.

Start Weight 232.8lbs

Current Weight 224,6.

Next goal will be to be in the 200 teens (eg 219)

Weigh in Number one

Not really a big loss.

Loss this week. 0.8lb

Total loss - 6.6lbs

Doesn't sound like much at all. My body fat percentage went down by 2 percent or so so that cheered me up as I've been doing my best at the gym.

It's hard because we are literally buying bread and milk and eating pasta type things that we have left in the cupboard. I have literally no money to buy what I am craving - fruit salad, yoghurt! I wish I did.

I will keep doing the best I can with what I have, plus try to drink even more water. Hopefully I will reach the half a stone mark next week at least.

This week I vow to

Drink more water

Keep it up with the gym (I jogged a whole 2 minutes, then a whole 4 minutes - I have never done that before)!

Be vigilant with the ww calculator.

so far so good

I feel like it is going well, I have taken measurements and photos and been tracking my points, though some rolled over to today which I hope is ok. Back to school (work) today which helps me back into routine.

I had such a sense of enjoying the gym today I was looking forward to it all day! This is not like me! I jogged (2 mins non stop at one point which is huge for me, only ever made it to 1.30_ and did some weights too and we cooled down with a walk.

So... i think so far so good!

My official weigh in of the new year weighing in at...

227lbs exactly.

Which makes total (though slow) loss of 5.8lbs.

Im glad to have not put on over Christmas. and lost an extra 0.4lbs.

I haven't so much been counting points as eating properly, though I am very surprised to not have put on over Christmas. A lot of this has to do with tight budget and really planning for what we are going to eat.

I'm using my American points calculator as my food diary / points count as it deducts the points you use. So far I've had toast with light spread (3pt) and 2 satsumas (1pt).

I need to find more out about the American 'flex' points which is apparently 35 points a week for eating out etc. I'm not sure about using too many of those!

I will take measurements and photos later today.

. We went to the gym yesterday at our apartment, I didn't do an awful lot just a job and the cross trainer, going to try to do that 3 times a week.

So here I go...wish me luck
